Entangled Lovestruck

Office supply addict Eve McGrath’s meticulously organized life is on the verge of crashing at her feet. Blue Mountain distillery’s new tasting and visitor center has to be finished pronto or her mother will lose her mind. Good thing Eve likes a challenge—which is exactly what she’ll face trying to convince the flaky contractor’s hot son to finish the job.

Nick Baker is back in Kentucky just long enough to get his wayward dad back on his feet. Then he’s gone. Unfortunately, he can’t resist helping Eve, the sexy distiller-in-distress, whose addictive, bourbon-flavored kisses threaten his carefully constructed boundaries. And if he can’t rein himself in, the uncomfortable secrets of past will nail him to the wall…

Teri Anne Stanley has been writing since she could hold a crayon--though learning to read was a huge turning point in her growth as a writer. Teri's first stories involved her favorite Saturday morning cartoon characters, followed by her favorite teen idols. She has also authored a recipe column (The Three Ingredient Gourmet), and scientific articles (Guess which was more interesting!). Now she writes fun, sexy romance populated by strong, smart women and hunky heroes.

Teri currently supplements her writing income as a neuroscience research assistant. In her nearly non-existent spare time, she is the human half of a therapy dog team, an amateur genealogist, and a compulsive crafter (if there are directions on the internet, she can probably make it). Along with a variety of offspring and dogs, she and Mr. Stanley enjoy boating and relaxing at their weekend estate, located in the thriving metropolis of Sugartit, between Beaverlick and Rabbit Hash, Kentucky.

[Blog Tour] Meeting his Match by Katee Robert

MHM_1600
Meeting His Match by: Katee Robert

Synopsis: A satisfying category romance from Entangled’s brand new Lovestruck imprint…

When New York matchmaker Addison St. Claire is tasked with matching her best friend’s new brother-in-law, she almost refuses. But the sexy southern CEO turns out to be a challenge she can’t resist, because if anyone needs to meet his soul mate, it’s this man. And if matching him with someone else removes the temptation of being near him? Even better.   The last thing Caine McNeill needs is a matchmaker—especially a gorgeous redhead who spouts nonsense about soul mates, critiques what he drives and how he dresses, buys him a dog, and pesters him about a million little things he couldn’t care less about. It’s a crying shame he has to keep his hands off because chemistry like what’s flaring between them ought to be explored. Thoroughly. And so the battle begins. Addison is determined to stick to her plan of setting him up on dates with other women, and Caine is equally determined to ignore these women and seduce her.

[Book Tour] Crash Into You by Sofia Grey

[Book Review] Taste the Heat: A Love and Games Novel by Rachel Harris / Bliss Entangled

One sexy fire captain. One Cajun chef, One combustible kitchen…

When chef Colby Robicheaux returned home to New Orleans to save her family restaurant, the last person she expected to reconnect with was her brother’s best friend and her childhood crush. As tempting as a sugar-coated beignet, Jason is one dish she doesn’t want to taste. Colby is counting down the days till she can leave the place where her distrust of love and commitment originated and go back to Vegas.

Fire captain Jason Landry isn’t looking for love, either. He knows he should focus on finding the perfect mother for his daughter, but when he first sees Colby, all grown up and gorgeous, he can’t help but be drawn to her. And when she suggests a no-strings-attached fling, Jason doesn’t want to say no.

As their relationship grows more intense, Colby finds that Jason isn’t as easy to leave behind as she thought. Could turning up the heat on something real be worth the possibility of getting burned?

Taste the Heat gave me a taste of what I love: A hot hero, a sassy heroine and a lot of sexual tension. Being a Louisiana girl myself, after reading this book, I felt right at home. Rachel Harris did a fabulous job at describing life in New Orleans and she did it in such a way that it added to the story perfectly. I usually don’t get into the setting so much. It may have been my “homesickness” or just the excellent way Ms. Harris entangled it into the storyline – it really stood out.

But the best part was the characters and that’s what absorbed me into this book. Colby Robicheaux is a torn heroine – torn by her past and hurt by so many. Of course her old-time crush, Jason Landry steps in and helps her all while helping himself. They are so perfect for each other, it had my heart pitter pattering every time they were together. Even better was the fact that Jason was suffering his own hurts – losing a wife too early and raising a preteen can be difficult. Oh, and did I mention he’s the hot fire department captain? I mean how much yummier can that be? I do have to mention Ms. Harris did an excellent job forming the secondary characters and I hope to read more about them in future books. Will we?

Overall, I loved this book so much that I couldn’t put it down. I’d go to sleep thinking about Jason and Colby’s intense sexual attraction and I’d wake up with the book in my hands. I give the book 4.5 winks. I didn’t give it 5 because I normally like to read the sex scenes and this one leads us to the sex but doesn’t take us through. Not really a huge factor, but **blush** I do like to read my sex!

Rachel Harris has weaved together a perfect story and has captured a new reader! Bravo!

Holly parked in front of La Boutique, triumphant she’d found the store without making any wrong turns, and hurried inside.
“Holly?” Yessica stepped away from the cash register.
“My book club meeting starts in a few minutes—we meet at the library—but I have another question. Lillian told me about Lee coming to see Marcy at the office. About him giving her a letter. Did she talk to you about that?”
Yessica fidgeted with her rings, then looked directly into Holly’s eyes. “I realize you’re trying to help, but why are you doing this?”
Holly went still, wondering what she’d done wrong. Yessica had talked to her before. “What do you mean?”
“The more I think about it, the stranger it seems. Why are you looking into Maricella’s death?”
Holly pursed her lips and considered how to answer. At last she said, “I want to know why.”
At first, it had been to clear her name and Desert Accounting’s reputation—plus some curiosity—but the more she learned about Marcy, the more she needed to know how and why Marcy’s relationship had spiraled out of control.
Yessica tilted her head and waited. Her expression said, Not good enough.
Holly straightened the brochures heaped on the counter. If she expected Yessica to open up, she had to meet her at least halfway. Painful admissions didn’t come easily. “I knew a man in Seattle…with the same dominance issues. He tried to…” How could she describe it? Rearrange? Control? “Take over my life.”
“And?” Yessica demanded.
“You mentioned earlier about Marcy and Lee meeting at a coffee shop. That caught my attention…I started seeing a guy that way, too…”
How to explain? Holly sighed. “It sounds so innocuous. Like anyone else meeting a new guy. We had coffee. I mentioned to Frank I loved mocha lattes. A few days later, he brought a mocha latte to my office. I thought it was nice. I was working crazy hours and it gave me a break and us a chance to talk. He did it again the next week, and again, it seemed sweet.”
Yessica shifted. “I don’t understand. How is this connected to Maricella?”
“Frank started coming by every day. He expected me to stop whatever I was doing and talk to him. He never considered the fact that I was working sixteen-hour days on a transaction or that I had a demanding job. It was all about him. And he always brought the damned mocha latte. It turned creepy and controlling, like he was making decisions about what I could drink. I mean, what if I didn’t want a mocha? What if I wanted a double-shot or a decaf?”
She forced her mouth to close. She sounded crazy.
“Why?” Yessica asked. “You and Maricella. You’re smart. Pretty. Why would you get involved with men like that?”
Holly fiddled with the stack of brochures. “It’s insidious. At the beginning, Frank was charming. Attractive. Charismatic.” Devon’s comment smacked her. In the boardroom, Alders was pure charisma.
Damn. She raked a hand through her hair. “Bottom line? I got away, but it’s made me more sensitive to women trapped in a bad relationship. In Marcy’s case, I think the police are asking the wrong questions. That they’re going about this the wrong way.”
Yessica’s lips thinned. After a long moment, she said, “Maricella was very angry after Lee came to see her. He had no right to come to her office. She had the paper to make him stay away.”
Yeah, yeah. He walked right through that restraining order and put her in intensive care. The line from the old song rolled through Holly’s head and she nearly gagged. No. No country music. She had to get back to Seattle, home of Nirvana and grunge music. “Did she mention other papers? Lillian said Lee gave your sister an envelope. Whatever was in it upset Marcy.”
“Lee made a divorce settlement offer. It was an insult.”
Gee, what a surprise. Lee tried to stiff Marcy at the end of their marriage. “You didn’t mention the settlement offer the other day.”
Yessica’s hands lifted and fell. “What was there to say? It was another example of what a cabrón he is. Lee wasn’t just a bastard, he was a cheap bastard. Maricella didn’t sign the divorce papers. Are they important?”

As a multi-published and an award winning author, Boone's writing drips with experiences from real life.

Addicted to anything that might make a good story, she weaves tales that range from dark fantasy to humorous romance. Settled in the icy regions of Alaska with the love of her life and twin daughters, it's not uncommon to find her tapping away on her iPad on a windy beach or the barren tundra.

Be warned, anyone and everything is fodder for one of Boone's novels.

“I want to meet him.”
Tor furrowed his brow. “Who?”
“Ares.” She stood and smoothed her hands down her camo-print capris. “I think I have the right to meet my father, don’t you?”
He stood, shaking his head. “It’s not that easy, Nikki.”
“Why?” She propped her hands on her hips. “You know your mom. Why can’t I meet my dad?”
“Because Ares is…complicated.”
“Let me guess. He’s a dark, brooding alpha male who could snuff out my life with a snap of his fingers.”
“Pretty much, and he doesn’t handle being summoned very well.”
“I don’t care.” Her voice grew louder. “I’m his daughter, damn it. Isn’t he supposed to come running when daddy’s girl wants something?”
He cringed. “I suggest you not call him daddy.”
“No problem, I have a whole stream of things I’d like to call him.” Years of being neglected by her parents spilled forward. “He owes me!”
Tor gently gripped her shoulders. Shocks of heat and electricity sparked against her skin. He glanced at his hands, telling her he’d felt it too. “Listen, let me ask my mother. Maybe she’ll be able to convince him. They have a”—he released her and mimicked air quotes—“special relationship.”
“Okay, that’s kind of creepy considering what we did last night,” Nikki said. All of the bluster bled out of her. She really wasn’t in any shape to have a reality TV show reunion with her father, especially since he was a full-fledged god. “Fine, ask your mom. I’ve always liked her.”
“And she’s always liked you.” He smiled. “Despite your parentage.”
“She’s a woman—I mean goddess—of good taste.”

[Cover Reveal] Act Like You Love Me by Cindi Madsen / Entangled Bliss

ACT LIKE YOU LOVE ME official Blurb:
All’s fair in acting and amore...
Brynn McAdams isn’t the awkward drama geek she was in high school—she’s grown up and confident, or at least she likes to think so. But when her old crush, the impossibly handsome and impossibly unattainable Sawyer Raines, comes back to town to direct her community play, Brynn finds herself determined to be someone other than the girl he doesn’t even recognize. Good thing she’s an excellent actress.
After his bad breakup in NYC, the last thing Sawyer wants is to get involved with another actress. But the glamorous and beautiful Brynn draws him in, even though as her director, he knows she’s off-limits. There’s just something about the woman that feels…familiar. Like home.
As Brynn’s lies start to snowball, she struggles to stop acting and come clean. But what if Sawyer is already falling for the fake Brynn, not the Brynn she truly is?

ACT LIKE YOU LOVE ME excerpt:

“Cut, cut cut!” Sawyer stood. “Was that supposed to be more passionate? Because it sucked.”

“This is supposed to be the eighteen hundreds,” Brynn said. “It can’t be too passionate or it would seem inappropriate for the time.”

The next instant Sawyer was charging up the steps to the stage. “I’m not saying it’s got to be a kiss with tongue, I’m saying you’ve got to look at each other like you’re in love so the audience will want it to work out. Our modern audience.” Sawyer shook his head. “Take it again, from before the proposal.”

It was impossible to concentrate with Sawyer standing right there, so close she could hear every shift of his body and feel his gaze on her like a weight. All her lines were swimming together.

Leo knelt, told her she was an angel. She said her line, trying to peer into his soul like she wanted to be with him, and then Leo kissed her. And it was sloppier than usual.

She did her best to not jerk back, though it was her first instinct.

“Okay, that was just…” Sawyer moved in front of her. He looked at the playbook, then lowered it by his side and stared into her eyes. The air thickened around them and she could feel every thump of her heart. “What a perfect angel you are, Cecily.” He said it so tenderly, his smile close-lipped but full of joy.

“You dear romantic boy,” she said, all out of instinct because thoughts were getting fuzzy.

He leaned in and kissed her, a soft kiss with his lips barely parted. The pressure of his lips increased for a delicious moment, and then they were gone. A quick, simple kiss, but when his mouth left hers, she felt its absence so strongly that she couldn’t think about anything else for a couple seconds. Her breath was stuck somewhere in her lungs and her lips still tingled, living the sensation over and over again. Heat wound through her body, her hands itched to reach out and touch him. And then she remembered she was supposed to. She ran her fingers through his hair and felt the whisper of his breath on her wrist as he exhaled.

“Wow, that was good,” Wendy said from the front, breaking Brynn from her trance.

Brynn stepped back and swallowed, but her throat wasn’t working right. Sawyer’s eyes never left hers, and one corner of his mouth curved up in a smug, self-satisfied way.

“It was all right, I suppose,” Brynn said, working to keep her voice steady. She crossed her arms and shrugged. “For a first-timer, anyway.”

That only made Sawyer’s smile grow wider.

Brynn couldn’t help but watch Sawyer as he jumped off the stage. Funny how she’d dreamed of kissing him all the time in high school, but her fantasy wasn’t even close to the real thing. Her heart felt like it’d just been wrung out and shoved back in her

And her scene with Leo was better. She was sure it had nothing to do with the fact that she closed her eyes and pretended it was Sawyer kissing her again.

Nope. Nothing at all.
