What was the first novel you read that made an impression on you?
Over the years, a lot of books have made an impression on me, but I think the one that still sticks with me the most, even to this day, would be Love Comes Softly by Janette Oke.

Do you plan all your characters out before you start a story or do they develop as you write?
My characters tend to develop as I write. From the outset, I usually have a good feel for my main character and love interest. The supporting characters tend to appear on their own.

What type of book have you always wanted to write?
My interests are all over. I’ve got ideas for YA, contemporary and historical romance, and even a few romantic suspense floating around in my head right now. I’d be hard pressed to stick to just one type of book.

Most _____________ in high school. (popular, nerdy, sporty…) Why?
In highschool, I would probably have been voted Most Quiet. I was a reticent teen, especially at school.

What is your favorite scene in your new release?
My favorite scene would have to be the one where Marianne sees Aaron at breakfast, but doesn’t recognize him without his hat and beard.
If you could be one of your characters - Who would you be? And why?
