[Book Tour] The Italian Affair by Annie Seaton

Free-spirited sex therapist Brianna Ballantine has four days to find a fiancé so she can inherit her birth mother’s Italian villa. Commitment is not on the agenda. Writing her sex therapy book and signing legal papers are. And once all is said and done, she’ll return home to Scotland.

For finance guru Tomas Richards, relationships have been a bad investment—give him stocks and shares any day. When Tomas offers a marriage of convenience to help Brianna secure her inheritance, the sizzle between the sheets promises an affair to remember, despite family complications at every turn.

But Tom must convince Brianna to stay, and make this Italian affair a lifelong commitment.

Ever since I was a young child, I have loved visiting different worlds through reading. There is no greater pleasure than sharing the stories of the lives of other people... whether they be kings and queens, supernatural characters or ordinary people like you and I.

So who are my top ten favourite book characters.

1. and 2. John of Gaunt and Katherine Swynford. In Katherine by Anya Seton. One of the greatest love matches in history.

3. and 4.  Llewellyn of Wales and Joanna, daughter of King John in Here be Dragons by Sharon Penman...a close second in the best love stories in history.

5. and 6. Tom Wingo and Susan Lowenstein in Pat Conroy’s Prince of Tides. Powerful and beautifully drawn characters in a wonderful love story.

7. The Quinn brothers in Nora Roberts Chesapeake Bay Saga. I loved reading about each of these brothers in the four book series.

8. Anne Shirley in the classic Anne of Green Gables...my namesake!

9. Elspeth Cameron in Essie Summers Sweet are the Ways. These books started my love of sweet romance

10. And finally a character I have recently discovered since I began writing Steampunk... Alexia Tarabotti from Gail Carriger’s Parasol Protectorate series.

AUTHOR INFORMATION:
Annie Seaton lives on the beautiful east coast of Australia, where she loves sitting in her writing chair, gazing at the ocean and writing stories. She has always been fascinated by all things historical and has found her niche writing contemporary romance and steampunk, where strong heroines and brooding heroes fight together to make their alternative world a better place.
