Back
to You

On the surface, Lynsey Reznor seems to have it all. She
is beautiful, brilliant, and a successful true-crime writer who has been living
the past decade in Miami. But what Lynsey lacks is what she needs the most—a
family.
After the death of her mother, and yet another failed
relationship, Lynsey makes an impulsive decision to return to her hometown of
Unity. But Unity will present its own bittersweet memories, most notably, her
first love, Nick Lincoln.
Twenty years ago, Nick broke teenager Lynsey’s heart
when he decided to marry another. He had his own private reasons—reasons he
never explained to Lynsey. Now she is back, along with a chance to reclaim her
love. But Lynsey wants answers from him that he may never be able to give out
of duty and guilt.

What
sparked your interest in becoming a romance writer?
I have always been a
voracious reader since I was young. As a teen I was already devouring Harold
Robbins and Sidney Sheldon books. I then became a reviewer, and one day I
though, ‘Hey, I can do this’. At first, I thought I was going to write these
big sweeping mainstream books, but a writer friend looked at my first effort
and said, ‘This is romance’.
What
is your writing environment.
I had a specially
built glass room added on to the back of my house. I can sit and enjoy the
nature around me while I write.
One
of your favorite quotes.
From the movie,
Coming To America
Prince Akeem (Eddie
Murphy) to Semmi (Arsenio Hall)
“But it
is also tradition that times *must* and always do change, my friend”
It always amazes me
how people are resistant to change, even when it benefits them.
Do
you have a website recommendation for other writers?
Savvy Authors is an
excellent resource, especially for newer writers. They offer workshops of all
kinds, pitching opportunities, mentoring opportunities, and a wealth of
information.
How
did you get the idea for this particular novel?
I started with the
central location of an idyllic little town called Unity, and worked out from
there. I wanted to write a story where one of the characters, in this case,
Nick Lincoln, is coming out of a long term relationship and trying to restart
his life after being with the same woman for twenty years.
Back To You is
actually the first story in my Unity series, even though Change of Address was
released first.
Flirting Questions
Which actor or book character do you have a crush on?
Daniel Tremont from SEE ME. An absolute gentleman who still has old world
values. It also doesn’t hurt that he is gorgeous and will live forever.
Never
regretting that fifteen years later you made that commitment and would do it
again right now.
When
was your last kiss?
Ten
minutes ago-I never have to even think for a minute that my partner doesn’t
love me. He tells me and shows me all the time.
What’s
an absolute no-no in a relationship?
Lying.
I think it’s a definite relationship killer followed very closely by constant
bickering and arguing.
If
you could take a romantic trip, where would it be?
Romania.
I know that may sound weird to a lot of people, but I love the country and the
people, and anywhere I go with my partner where we can spend time alone
together is romantic. Even the weekly shopping trip.
