[Book Promo] Apocalyptic Moon by Eva Gordon

Title: Apocalyptic Moon
Author: Eva Gordon

Ravaged by a global zombie pandemic, humanity’s survival depends on the secret society of shifters, but can they be trusted?

Book Blurb:

Dr. Dora Adler’s life has been in disarray since the beginning of the zombie apocalypse, but when she gets bitten by one of the undead her whole world is turned upside down. Held captive in a secret underground lab, the tall, muscular hunk in the next cell is her only hope for salvation. Unfortunately, he claims to be a werewolf. Yeah, and she’s supposedly a witch.

Dirk Gunderson is an alpha Arbor pack werewolf. Captured and collared, he’s sold to the zombie lab in hopes his blood serum can create a vaccine. He needs to escape, but not without the hot little brunette witch.

In the midst of enemy werewolves and the hordes of undead, Dirk and Dora’s sexual tension ignites a blaze hotter than the desert highway. Along their journey, they
battle the inevitable: a werewolf must never take a witch as a mate.

What was the first romance novel you read that made an impression on you? Outlander by Diane Gabaldon. It was fun to be swept by the passionate love between Scottish hunk, Jamie and his time traveling love, Claire. I was hooked by a great story with great romance. Before that, I never really read romance novels, and often, after finishing a book I felt so sad. I discovered that in romance novels the love interest characters go through hell and back, but they end up together and happily ever after.

What is your writing environment. A desk nook with a laptop, surrounded by magical objects, books, sweet smelling aromas and music from Spotify or Pandora. Plenty of coffee brewing at all times.

Do you plan all your characters out before you start a story or do they develop as you write? I write down a few notes about the character’s background but then they take over and take me on their journey. It reminds me of remote viewing.

One of your favorite quotes.

How did you get the idea for this particular novel? I love wolves and I’ve even volunteered at a wolf sanctuary. My passion for wolves turned to writing about werewolves. I love zombie movies and thought why not write a zombie apocalypse love story with shifters.

Me running with wolves
What is your favorite scene in your new release? Hmm. It has to be the one where they are stuck in an underground lab swarming with hungry zombies.

If you could be one of your characters - Who would you be? And why? Dr. Dora Adler, the witch and love interest of alpha werewolf, Dirk. Who would not want to be with a hot looking werewolf to protect and love you during the zombie apocalypse? That’s if they can past their deep differences. Plus Dora has some special powers of her own.

Flirting Questions:
Which actor or book character do you have a crush on? Bradley Cooper.

What’s your favorite body part of the opposite sex? Hmm. This is tough. I would have to say ripped muscles, anywhere. I’m also fond of the male brain, because it is so different on so many different levels. Visual, communication, etc... Yes, it’s a bit stereotypical, but maleness is so hot!

What does love feel like? Like a warm bath after two glasses of red wine. Falling in love/lust feels like a constant high.

Hey, baby! What’s your sign? Taurus, the bull. A good sign for an author who was too stubborn to quit no matter how tough it was to break into the world of publishing.

How did you meet your significant other? At a college New Year’s Party

Do you believe in love at first sight? Yep, from the moment my husband and I locked eyes at the New Year’s Party we knew that was it. It felt like we had known each other from another time or place.
